GF asked how much there was in the funds to which the treasurer replied that there was in excess of £5000.AF felt that re-erecting the fence should be the focus of spending but also wondered if there was any general consensus on improving the terrain surface.GF had been investigating the requirements of a covered terrain and needed drawings and a basic ground plan for initial planning purposes. (possibly Land Registry plan?) This lead to a general discussion on the merits of a covered terrain versus a new extra terrain.AF was deputed to approach Fareham Borough Council with a rough ground plan. 7.0 Secretary’s Report: 7.1 Forthcoming events: (Removed). 7.2 Club Events: (Removed). 7.3 Correspondence & Other Business: None8.0 Captains’ Reports: [DS, MP & SS reporting] 8.1 6A: P14,W12 – 1st (Champions) 6B: P13,W10 – 2nd 6C: P12,W8 – 2nd (Promoted) 9A: P9,W7 – 1st (Champions) 9X: P10,W5 – 4th. 9.0 Terrain Maintenance: 9.1 GF agreed to obtain a quote for installing two extra lights at the car-park end of the terrain. 10.0 Twinning Update N/A11.0 Items for Discussion:11.1 AGM : 04.11.11: All officers and committee members were willing to stand again for election.11.2 INDOOR WINTER LEAGUES: GF gave a progress report. 11.3 FIREWORK MELEE: GF & MP volunteered to send their allocated budget of £80 up in smoke.11.4 Next Meeting: Tba / 8.00 pmThere being no other business the meeting closed at 10.24 pm Page last updated 15/01/12 Cobbetts Boules Club of Burridge To see all content, you will need the current version of Adobe Flash Player to view it. |
